Kyoto

Hey guys !

Melina has fallen asleep (it's 10pm :/)
so it is just janean here :(

We left Osaka this morning and we are now in the temple town, Kyoto!
We have been walking around like zombies and getting lost because we were not paying attention half the time only cos we went out for some serious Kara-OKing and it turned out to be a later night than expected!




It was so much fun but melina thought it was a little too much fun, so we decided to take it easy today. We just went down town for a spot of shopping and a food market.
Before all that we made a stop at a delicious ramen shop in a seriously random place by a highway. It was packed with old japanese men and they even shoved us on the same table as this guy.



So here we are trying to eat our ramen and gyozas but the dudes around us would make gestures like "you" "me" "good" "pair".. after awhile we just said "HAI" to everything, god knows what we agreed to this afternoon cos they would laugh every time. It was most comical though, the food was also fantastic and cheap so we may go back tomorrow!






Now I am getting tired and the timer on the hostel computer is blinking madly again, so i'll just end this post with some photos from today.











Melina also has the biggest crush on the receptionist at jhoppers, she makes me alot of tea during his working hours. I think he is absolutely adorable and well mannered !


Tomorrow Melina and I are doing a bike tour of all the attractions that we pretty much mapped out! Kyoto looks easy to navigate judging from the map but I am so proud of ourselves, wish us luck !
